What is Inertia and how does it work?


Inertia is a term often used within the autistic community to describe the difficulty of starting, stopping, or switching tasks. It is not simply “laziness” or “lack of motivation.” Rather, it reflects a neurological challenge linked to executive functioning, energy regulation, and cognitive processing.
